Sách Science Terms Made Easy (Dictionary)

The idea for writing this book came about as a result of discussions with my pre-service science teacher

on effective ways to teach science vocabulary. Years ago, I came to realize that high school and middle

school students viewed the complexities of scientific vocabulary as a necessary burden that sometimes

interfered with their pursuit of understanding important concepts. Students at these grade levels would

complain about words that were unfamiliar or unrecognizable. Quite often science teachers new to the

profession would address the vocabulary by developing word lists and definitions or by coming up with

simple word association games promoting the ability to recognize words and recall their meanings.
