1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Introduction
Alibaba is Laboratory Information System (LIS) designed to help clinics/hospitals easily and effectively manage all laboratory operations. It also provides other added values such as: remote monitoring lab, return test result to patient remotely via LAN, internet, web, SMS Alibaba is able to connect with almost laboratory instruments. Alibaba installed in 01 PC can connect concurrently with 24 instruments via serial port and unlimited instruments via Ethernet port. Alibaba also can exchange data with any Hospital/Clinic Information System (HIS) or other system using shared database. (Alibaba put all data into database in some pre-defined/open format and condition, so any system can easily process those data. It also can exchange data via file or webservice). Alibaba is low cost LIS solution with high quality, flexible, easily customize for customer’s dedicated requirements.
