Firstly, she or he should well balance work and household affairs. On one hand, a good parent has his or her own career and interests devoted to; on the other hand, she or he can take good care of families and chores


Secondly, a good parent should keep up with trends and always keen on learning new knowledge. As the child grows up, the generation gap with parents begins to enlarge


The third character of a good parent is equality. Equality means that the parent never loads his or her idea on the child and respects the rights of individual .


All in all, only if the parent owns the features listed above, can he or she satisfy the definition of a good parent and develop strengthen relationship with his or her child emotionally.
