    This intermediate session explores in detail the BlackBerry Mobile Voice System (MVS) solution and integration with Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CM) to improve productivity by extending collaborative services and features to BlackBerry mobile devices
    This session covers the following topics related to BlackBerry MVS and Cisco Unified Communications
    Overview of concepts and features
    Solution components and requirements
    BlackBerry MVS configuration and provisioning
    Integration to Cisco UC environment including Unified CM
    Call and operational flows
    Design and Deployment considerations for implementation of the BlackBerry MVS solution within a Cisco UC environment including high availability, scalability, network characteristics, and security.
    System verification and serviceability
    This solution provides a comprehensive set of mobility features and functionsfor enterprise mobile workers and ensures that mobile workers have persistent reachabilityand access to enterprise voice services regardless of location. Further this solution provides a good return on investment by allowing enterprises to reduce the use of cellular minutes for business calls.
    At the end of the session attendees will understand the nature of the BlackBerry MVS solution including components, concepts, and features. Additionally, attendees will gain knowledge related to integrating the BlackBerry MVS solution to Cisco Unified Communications environments. Finally participants will understand how the BlackBerry MVS solution and Cisco Unified CM work together to provide a seamless mobility solution for enterprise mobile workers using BlackBerry Smartphones.
    While the session will begin with a brief overview of the solution, to maximize the material learned, ideally the attendee should have a working knowledge of Cisco Unified CM and associated devices, services, and principles, such as gateways, and enterprise dial-plans, as well as concepts like classes of restriction, calling search spaces, and partitions. Further, attendees should have some familiarity with BlackBerry Smartphones and the BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
