"Question is one of the quite highest frequent occurrences in teaching – learning process and it is also considered one of the most interesting features of language. The aim of this paper is to discuss some information about question via the comparison techniques to find the similarities and differences between English and Vietnamese. According to linguist Le Quang Thiem (2004), “in daily life the main purpose of question is asking the unknown information”(p.222). In the first part of this paper, we will discuss four types of question in English and make the comparison between English and Vietnamese in forming question. The second part will mention the student’s confusing when using question in both speaking and written English; after that conduct the teaching of English question to Vietnamese students .​"​​
