    INTRODUCTION


    1. Project information
    Project name: Preparational School
    Project code: PRS01
    Project type: Web application
    Timeline: ***

    2. Background
    Nowadays, to prepare for examinations of transition to higher level of education, students must learn so much. In general, students take part in classes organized by teacher in order to prepare for examinations. They or their parents have to contact with the teachers to register and pay fees. The teachers hire a place to hold the class, inform students about time-table (time-table can change every weeks), collect fees, . Moreover, both teacher and student waste too much time moving between the different places during the period of studying. As a result, these above reasons influence significantly the studying process of student and the teaching process of teacher.
    Therefore, the problem is how to optimize above process and save money, time and efforts for teachers, students and their parents?

    3. Existing solutions
    - Hocmai.vn: is a website system that provides courses, which are held in different topics (from class 1 to class 12, foster excellent students, advanced mathematics ). Each course includes lessons, each lesson is recorded into video and upload to the system by teacher. Students pay fees to participate in courses and study through these videos.
    However, this system doesn’t have any exercises or exams, which allow students assess their learning progress by themselves. Learning by watching the video is boring and lack of interaction!
    - ixl.com: is an interesting system that allows students to do exercises online, and result can be saved for their parents, teachers and students to analyze, assess the learning progress. It is organized by groups of skills (mathematics skills from class 1 to class 8, algebra skills, geometry skills, etc.). Each group is divided into detailed sub skill groups. In these skills, students do the exercises. If the student's solution is correct, marks will increase. Otherwise, the system gives the answer for that question and the students continue doing until they reach at certain level.
    The language of this system is English, so it can be difficult for students and parents, who are not good at English. Moreover, instead of being provided knowledge to do exercises, the system provides the explanation after the students finish their work.
