Pancreatic cancer is one of the most common malignancies of the digestive system and has poor prognosis. The incidence of pancreatic cancer is gradually increasing worldwide [1]. Currently, surgical intervention remains the only potential curat ive therapy; however, the majority of pancreat i cancer s are not suitable for surgical resection due to the advanced stage. Therefore, nonoperative therapies are alternatives for patients wi th pancreatic cancer at the advanced stage [2].
