Analysis of antenna diversity techniques used in mimo systemThis paper considers some diversity techniques used in multiple-input multiple-output
(MIMO) systems. A Matlab program is presented to analyze and compare symbol error rate (SER) of
different antenna diversity techniques for various number of antennas, modulation techniques, as well
as compare beam patterns of an antenna diversity with a smart antenna system (with conventional
beamforming). The results emphasize advantages of antenna diversity techniques in improving
capacity of the system and reducing influence of fading on signal.
